Slewing Bearing for Heavy Industry
In order to answer to the increasing demand for heavy duty bearings from our customers, KML is going to introduce slewing bearing in our programme in 2009.
Steelballs or cylindrical rollers are the 2 types of rolling element used in a slewing bearings which can perform the functions of load bearing, orientation and fastening . slewing movements as well as rotating movements, they are widely used in cranes , radar, bottling machines construction & mining machinery.

KML Launches Automobile Aftermarket Wheel Bearing Kits
KML is committed to providing our customers with value-added services. Recently, we have launched a number of automobile wheel bearing kits, which are applicable to various vehicle models of Nissan, Ford, Renault, VW, Toyota, Mazda and many more.
These repair kits include bearings, oil seals, nuts, bolts, O-rings, pins, bushes etc, of which are packed into an individual KML box and are convenient for using.

KML Wrapping Has been RoHS Certified
Since its establishment, KML has been considering environmental protection and social responsibility as a footstone for enterprises brand and value. In our daily operations, we try our best to minimize wastes on paper, facilities, water, electricity and so forth. Furthermore, through using pollution free or least polluting materials, we minimize pollutions on soil, air and water.
RoHS Directives restrict the amount of harmful substances including heavy metals like lead and mercury and other chemical substances. In order to verify the fulfilment of KMLs wrapping on RoHS, KML appointed SGS, a well-known testing institute, to test all the presently-used wrapping . This test covered 7 kinds of wrapping namely board of wooden case, corrugated carton, cardboard box, plastic bag of carton, plastic bag of box, paster and adhesive tape. After testing, SGS certified that KMLs wrapping passed in the test. The results showed that the amount of the harmful substances in KMLs wrapping was zero or very tiny which was far from the upper limit of the RoHS standard.
Next, we shall plan to put our products in SVHC test which relates to REACH. We will try every effort to make products friendly to environment so as to keep a green earth.

Laboratory Building Completed
In November, 2008, the construction of the laboratory building of KML Powertech Ltd. was completed. Once the building and facilities are examined, they will be put into service.
Attached photos are the exterior scene and new building.
Warmth on Earthquake Disaster Area
KML is keeping an eye on Sichuan earthquake disaster area.
On Oct 21st, KML launched another fund-raising campaign for the people in the area and received a hot response from our colleagues. Finally, , we raised 22,970 Chinese yuan together with 219 bed quilts and 213 cotton coats.
On Dec. 4th, 9 members of KML team delivered the donations to the local governments donation receiving station. Our donations were subsequently transported together with other donations to the people in Sichuan.
Our strength is little. However, when brooks converged together, there finally came a river. We are committing ourselves to rewarding society so as to shoulder our social responsibility and brotherhood to compatriots. And we firmly believe: you could have a blue sky with loves handing out to people who need. |

China Invest 4000 Billion RMB to Boost Economy
To prevent an excessive economic slowdown, the State Council of China has called for a meeting and approved 10 measures to boost domestic demand and promote economic growth.
As said, the related projectsin the 10 measures would involve 4000 billion Chinese yuan of investment till the end of 2010. To accelerate the progress of construction, the State Council also decided that 100 billion Chinese yuan of central investment would be added in the fourth quarter of this year, and 20 billion yuan investment would be earmarked for reconstruction in quake-hit areas next year.
Economists said, the economic measures taken by the Chinese government were more effective than those taken 10 years ago to deal with the Asian financial crisis. In dealing with the Asian financial crisis China increased its issue of treasury bonds but did not specify the volume of investment. This time the situation is different ?C the government defines target sectors for investment, and also the volume of funds to be invested.
Before making this decision, China has cut the interest rates three times, scrapped quotas for bank lending and unveiled measures to help house buyers and some exporters. However, economists said that these were not enough. Some economists believed that the growth rate would go down to 6 percent next year if there were no fiscal stimulus. Last year, the growth rate was near 12 percent. |

Classical Chinese Painting
Chinese painting is one of the oldest long-lasting artistic traditions in the world. The earliest paintings were not representational but ornamental; they consisted of patterns or designs rather than pictures. It was only during the Warring States Period (403-221 B.C.) artists began to represent the world around them.
Painting in the traditional style is known today in Chinese as guó huà, meaning 'national' or 'native painting', as opposed to Western styles. Traditional Chinese painting has its special materials and tools, including brushes, ink and pigments, xuan paper (a special type of paper), silk and various kinds of ink slabs. Chinese traditional painting can be classified in terms of different aspects as follows:
1. Style
There are two styles of Chinese painting, namely, xieyi style and gongbi style. Xieyi, or freehand, is marked by exaggerated forms and freehand brushwork. Gongbi, or meticulousness, is characterized by close attention to detail and fine brushwork. Freehand painting generalizes shapes and displays rich brushwork and ink techniques.
2. Forms
The principal forms of traditional Chinese painting are the hanging scroll, album of paintings, fan surface and long horizontal scroll.
3. Subjects
The subjects of traditional Chinese paintings can be grouped as figure paintings, landscapes and flower-and-bird paintings. Landscapes represent a major category in traditional Chinese painting, mainly depicting the natural scenery of mountains and rivers.
Traditional Chinese painting, poetry, calligraphy, painting and seal engraving usually supplement and enrich one another. "Painting in poetry and poetry in painting" has been a criterion for excellent works. Inscriptions and seal impressions help explain the painter's ideas and sentiments and also add beauty to the painting.
